Xico Hosts Mezcal Centered Fundraiser for Oaxaca/Chiapas Earthquake Relief

We're throwing a costume party featuring a Mezcal tasting with 4 top brands and their ambassadors, a chocolate truffle and Mezcal tasting, a silent auction, and more, all to raise money for earthquake relief in Oaxaca and Chiapas.

Who: Xico, along with special guests Amaras, Wahaka, Sombra and La Palabra.

What: A Costume/Mezcal and Art party!

Why: To raise funds for earthquake relief in Oaxaca and Chiapas, while celebrating the season!
When: October 27th from 7-10pm
Where: Xico Event Space 3715 SE Division Street, Portland, Oregon 97202

The space will be decorated with six original works by Puerto Rican artist Arnaldo Roche Rabell, generously loaned to Xico by Bloomsbury Fine Art and Antiques.

Silent auction items include gift certificates from some of Portland’s favorite restaurants, like OP Wurst, Pinolo Gelato, and Nostrana, as well as wonderful treats like massages and crystals!

We’ll have music on and candles lit! Bring your friends, sip smoky bright mezcals, and savor Xico bites!

$25 Silver Level includes:

-Entry to the party!

-Mezcal tasting with the principals from Amaras, La Palabra, Sombra and Wahaka. Try their mezcals, meet the brand ambassadors, and learn about mezcal.

-One Jamaica/mezcal cocktail designed by Xico

-Hors d’oeuvres by Xico

-Opportunities to bid on items in the silent auction, including gift certificates from some of Portland’s best restaurants, shops, and more!

-$40 Bronze Level includes all of the above plus a Xico chocolate truffle and mezcal experience

-$50 Gold Level includes all of the above plus a second cocktail of your choice from the mezcal cocktail bar.
